RecoveryPlus is a nutritionally complete rehydratable, syringe feeding diet designed to provide intensive nutritional support for sick or convalescing rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and degus. It helps to aid effective recovery from GI Stasis and provides nutritional support during critical care situations. This product provides intensive nutritional support for the critical care of small herbivores, animal health critical care.

It is made with Timothy Hay, with a high concentration of long fiber, helping to provide an ideal substrate for gut microbes to produce volatile fatty acids as an energy source. RecoveryPlus also contains enhanced protein (18.5%) to boost protein reserves at times of greater need and to support the immune system. Additionally, it includes prebiotics to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria for digestive health.

RecoveryPlus is suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and degus, and includes Echinacea to help provide immune system support. It is available in boxes of ten packs to provide convenient and cost-effective use either in practice or at home. The product is highly palatable with no added sugars or artificial colorants.

To prepare, just add warm water and mix, as it maintains suspension. It also contains chamomile to help provide support during times of stress and is rehydratable as a nutritionally complete liquid feed, making it ideal for syringe feeding. Each box comes with a complementary feeding syringe.

With a high crude fiber content (25%), RecoveryPlus promotes GI health and fecal consistency. It also contains added Vitamin C at 1,200mg/kg, providing for higher requirements in stressful situations – no need to supplement for guinea pigs and degus.
